What are the Secrets to Spiritual Growth?
I have my own answers. I am interested in what yours are.For me it is Bible study & fellowship with active participants in a healthy, well ballanced church. In Scripture, the Church is refered to as the body of Christ.
Obedience to Christ, service within the church, generous giving of money and time, prayer, worship, Bible reading/study, and fellowship with other Christians in a healthy, “Bible-believing” church are the keys to spiritual growth.
I would say that obedience to the teachings of Christ is the most important secret to spiritual growth based on the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20:
19″Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
20teaching them to OBSERVE ALL THAT I COMMANDED YOU (emphasis added) ; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
